i remember thinking when i was little.
how much cooler it would be if our world was completely
upside down. if maybe we walked on the roofs of our house,
if the floors now where the ceilings. i always thought about this
and would sit upside down with my feet in the air and pretend
to live on ceiling. then i realized one day that if our world
was like that, then i bet we would dream about living the other
way around, with all the sofas and counter tops above us.
and the boring floor fans, fire detectors and hard to step over
door jams would be better off flipped around.

i just remembered that today and it made me laugh out loud
by myself in the shop.
